WHY ATTEND

Join us for the Investment Association’s Annual Dinner, on the evening of Tuesday 14 October 2025. For the first time this year, our annual dinner will be at the Guildhall, at the very heart of the City and one of London’s most magnificent spaces.

This venue is a fitting location for us to look ahead to the future of investment management and celebrate our success. We will hear from very senior speakers, from both inside and outside of our industry, to set the agenda for our work into 2026 and beyond. Our prestigious dinner is a key calendar date for the investment management community, when we bring together more than 400 senior industry figures along with Ministers, regulators, and officials.

We are delighted to be joined by the Lucy Rigby MP, Parliamentary Secretary (Economic Secretary to the Treasury).  The Economic Secretary will address the dinner on the role that our industry plays in boosting growth and supporting household finances.

Once again, we are pleased to be joined by our Principal Partner EY and our Charity Partner Just Finance Foundation (JFF). In today’s challenging economic climate, financial education is crucial. Just Finance Foundation empowers children with the knowledge to manage money wisely, helping to reduce problem debt and support informed financial decisions.

We hope you will join us this year by hosting a table of 10 guests and we expect these to become fully booked well ahead of the event.

Please contact Events@theia.org should you have any queries.

A message from JFF:

We are honoured to be the Investment Association’s charity partner at its Annual Dinner 2024. Just Finance Foundation is a national charity dedicated to empowering future generations with the knowledge and skills to manage money wisely. By delivering free financial education training, resources, and support to schools across the UK, we are equipping young children with the essential tools for budgeting, saving, and developing healthy financial habits. The programme is teacher-led, curriculum-embedded, and values-based. This early intervention is critical in encouraging open conversations about money, learning the importance of saving, planning for the future, and ensuring that children grow up feeling confident and secure when managing their finances.

With the support of your industry, our goal is to ensure that all children have access to a robust financial education, no matter their circumstances. To date we have served 162,000 students across the UK in over 600 schools and we intend to extend and deepen our reach throughout the UK as part of a broader strategy to offer wrap-around support to all children through key influencers in their families and communities.
