IA Webinar: Transition Plan Guidance for Asset Managers

Description

.

WHY ATTEND

Join us for this webinar, where the Investment Association and the Transition Plan Taskforce will outline the developing expectations for how investment managers should disclose their plans for the transition to net zero. The Transition Plan Taskforce was established by the UK Government to develop guidance for best practice, robust and science-based transition plans across sectors.

The TPT has published draft guidance to assist investment managers in preparing and publishing transition plans. The guidance is part of a package of seven sector-specific documents intended to help preparers to interpret the TPT's previously published Disclosure Framework for use in their sector. A consultation on the sector guidance is open until 29 December 2023.

In this webinar, we'll recap the work of the Transition Plan Taskforce and consider its future significance, offering firsthand insights from industry experts who played a role in developing the guidance. This webinar will be of interest to all IA members working on climate-related investment within their firm, including policy, engagement and compliance roles.' Participate in the live Q&A session to get your questions answered.
