Ed Wicks, Global Trading Team Lead, LGIM
Ed Wicks leads the Global Trading Team at LGIM. In this role Ed has overall responsibility for the trading function, as well as oversight of LGIM’s suite of Liquidity Funds. Ed joined LGIM in 2015 from BlackRock where he was responsible for designing and implementing trading strategies for the beta, LDI and transition groups. Prior to that he was a Delta 1 trader at J.P. Morgan, responsible for several index trading books and derivative market making activities. Ed graduated from Loughborough University and holds an MSc in Business Management as well as a BA (hons) in Economics and Politics.

Neil Ryan, FINBOURNE
Neil works as a consultant with FINBOURNE Technology and worked previously with the Cassette consortium (Bloomberg, Marketaxess and Tradeweb) on an EU bond consolidated tape project. He also chairs the board of Northern Trust’s asset servicing company in Ireland, as well as the EU Commission’s Expert Group on Market Data.

Prior to establishing his consultancy, Neil was COO at Corlytics and Quaternion Risk Management, both Irish-based FinTech firms) and was Assistant Secretary General at the Department of Finance (Ireland, 2011 - 2016), CRO in the Department and a member of the FSB's European Regional Consultative Group. He was a member of ESMA's Consultative Working Group of the Financial Innovation Standing Committee.

He has over 20 years in senior banking roles for several global banks including UBS, Wells Fargo and Lehman Brothers.

Hugo Gordon, Senior Policy Adviser, The Investment Association
Hugo Gordon is a Senior Policy Adviser in the Investments & Capital Markets Team at The Investment Association. Hugo's primary focus within the IA is on supporting IA members as users of capital markets both in the UK and overseas. In particular he leads on issues relating to ETFs, fixed income, private markets, and investment research.

Stephen Hanks, Trading Policy, FCA
Stephen worked as a civil servant for 18 years before in 2006 joining the financial services regulator mainly working on wholesale markets issues. He has been working on the FCA’s preparations for a consolidated tape since mid-2022.
