Sustainability and Responsible Investment Conference
CHAMPIONING SUSTAINABILITY TO BUILD A BRIGHTER FUTURE
Description

Responsible investment has existed in various forms for many years, but it is in the last decade that we have seen sustainability gain particular focus in our industry, driven by a growing awareness of the threat posed by climate change to the environment, increased demand from investors for new solutions and widespread recognition of the material impact of sustainability issues on financial returns and the broader economy.
This event will provide members with the opportunity to discuss the implications of sustainability and responsible investment for mainstream asset management today. More specifically, it will explore the role of the UK as a global hub for sustainability and responsible investment; the impacts of policy and regulatory developments on shaping this market and on the delivery of solutions to consumers; as well as the purpose of the asset management industry, including our wider role in helping to deliver social and environmental sustainability.
