IA Webinar: Mansion House Update

Description

The Chancellor's Mansion House Speech marked a milestone for our industry, with arguably the widest package of reforms to financial regulation in over the decade. Join the IA Webinar on 22nd July at 10am BST where our Director of Corporate Affairs, Karen Northey, and Director of Policy, Strategy and Innovation, Jonathan Lipkin, will unpick the major announcements contained in the speech and the accompanying Financial Services Competitiveness and Growth Strategy - which together make up the Leeds Reforms.

The package of reforms recognises the crucial role investment management plays in driving the government' growth ambitions. The discussion will cover the all the elements of the transformational package that are most relevant to the investment management industry, assessing the impact on the industry and highlighting the areas where the IA will be playing a leading role - the Retail Investment Promotion Campaign and the Risk Warnings Review - two proposals the Treasury have asked the IA to spearhead. Finally, we will end with a discussion on how the industry can take forward the opportunities offered within the Leeds Reforms.
