WHY ATTEND
The Investment Association, in collaboration with the Thinking Ahead Institute, is conducting an industrywide equity, diversity and inclusion (EDI) survey. As firms ramp up efforts to promote inclusive work environments, we believe it is critical to provide an evidence-based understanding of the EDI landscape in the UK investment management industry, and the make-up of its community.
The EDI Data Survey will be sent out in April, and we ask all member firms to please take the time to complete it. The more responses we get, the more accurate our data will be. It is crucial that EDI initiatives be informed by high-quality data, in order to ensure meaningful progress in this space.
In recent years, the FCA has placed a spotlight on diversity and inclusion and the importance of collecting richer data to demonstrate progress towards the development of more targeted initiatives. Our survey will be an integral piece of the IA's commitment to guiding the conversation and supporting members in their EDI journey.
To help members in completing the survey, the IA will be hosting a webinar where we will provide an overview of the survey and its purpose. This will be an opportunity for those responsible for completing questionnaire to ask our project team any questions that will help them along their journey.
