The IA NED Briefing
Description
WHY ATTEND
The role of the non-executive director (NED) and independent non-executive director (iNED) in your organisation's crisis management
As the last two years have affirmed, stable and effective leadership in a time of crisis is fundamental to a firm’s ability to successfully navigate the inevitable challenges, as well as opportunities that these periods bring. From global pandemics to war to targeted cyber-attacks, NEDs and Independent Non-Executive Directors (iNEDs) play a vital role in guiding their organisations through live challenges, as well as preparing them to manage, or in fact mitigate, a crisis before it becomes a reality.
This event will cover the role of NEDs and iNEDs in crisis management, as well as practical steps and key considerations to make when preparing for or navigating a crisis. The event will also facilitate the opportunity for networking with peers from across the industry.
This event will cover:
- Planning and communication: testing how your organisation responds to a crisis
- The role of organisational culture
- Utilizing technology to effectively manage a crisis
- Measuring your response
- Managing your organisation's reputation
