Member call: EU's Market Integration Package
Description
The IA will convene a member call on Monday 15 December at 10.30 - 11.30 CET to discuss the EU's Market Integration and Supervision Package. The package was published on 4 December and will address 18 pieces of EU legislation.
The legislative package includes:
- A Proposal for a Directive amending the Alternative Investment Fund Managers Directive (AIFMD), the Undertakings for Collective Investment in Transferable Securities Directive (UCITS), and the Markets in Financial Instruments Directive (MiFID).
- A Proposal for a Regulation amending the European Securities and Markets Authority (ESMA) Regulation, the Markets in Financial Instruments Regulation (MiFIR), the European Market infrastructure Regulation (EMIR), the Central Securities Depositories Regulation (CSDR), the Cross-border Distribution Regulation (CBDR), the Markets in Crypto-Assets Regulation (MiCAR), the Securities Financing Transactions Regulation (SFTR), and the Distributed Ledger Technology Regulation (DLTR).
- A Proposal for a Settlement Finality Regulation (SFR), which would replace the Settlement Finality Directive (SFD).
