The IA and FCA on Dynamic Liquidity under IFPR: Expectations in Practice

Description

This session will explore recent FCA expectations and supervisory insights on liquidity under IFPR, including key themes emerging from ICARA reviews and common areas of regulatory scrutiny. It will also examine how firms are calibrating LATR and liquidity buffers in practice, with a focus on linking these to firm-specific risks and harms.

We will discuss how firms are moving towards more dynamic liquidity management, including the use of triggers, early warning indicators, and ongoing monitoring frameworks, as well as how liquidity considerations are being embedded into day-to-day decision-making.

Finally, the session will aim to cover practical challenges in wind‑down planning and group structures, alongside approaches to liquidity stress testing and scenario design, including how firms translate stress outcomes into actionable management responses.

This webinar will not be recorded.
