Webinar: ISA Barometer 2026: ISAs as a gateway to investing

Description

This webinar will present key findings from the IA’s fourth annual ISA Barometer, 'ISAs as a Gateway to Investing'.
Drawing on three complementary surveys fielded in early March of 2,000 nationally representative UK adults, 1,000 investors and 1,000 Cash ISA savers, the webinar will unpack the goals, motivations and financial habits of those using ISAs to better understand financial resilience across the UK and how people save and invest. With this year's research unfolding against an uncertain macro and geopolitical backdrop, speakers will also explore how sentiment and behaviour are being shaped by market volatility, perceptions of risk, and the evolving policy debate on ISA reform.

Three key takeaways:

  • A deep-dive on ISA use in the UK, including how uptake has evolved year-on-year
  • The key barriers to investing amongst cash savers and what risk means to different demographics
  • The role ISAs play in creating a culture of retail investment in the UK

SPEAKERS

  • Miranda Seath, The Investment Association, Director of Market Insights and Fund Sectors
  • Ellen Hodgetts, The Investment Association, Investor Insights Manager
